Cowboy Riddle Answer & Bonus Joke

Two cowboys can't agree about whose prized horse is the better. To resolve this they decide to have a race. But this is no ordinary race, the winner must arrive last! Obviously when race begins neither decides to advance. This continues for a while until the cowboys dismount and, after a long consultation, get back on the horses, and race flat out to the finish line. Assuming that the conditions of the race never changed, what did they decide to do?

They changed horses.

Cowboy Jokes:

A cowboy steps out the saloon to discover find that some wise crack has painted his horse white. He storms back inside and shouts, ‘Which one of you wise $rses painted my horse?’
A 7 foot mustached gunslinger stands up and says, ‘Me.’
The cowboy says. ‘Just thought I’d let you know that the first coat is dry.’

A cowboy hitches his horse to a post outside the saloon. He lifts his horse’s tail and kisses its ass. A shocked old-timer asks what he's doing.
‘It's for my dry chapped lips,’ says the cowboy.
‘Kissing your horses ass helps your chapped lips?’ asks the old timer.
‘It doesn’t help them,’ says the cowboy. ‘But it sure stops me from licking them.’
