Ice block Riddle Answer & Bonus Joke

If you put an ice block into a glass of water and measure the level of the water, then wait until the ice melts, and measure the new level. Will the new level be the less than the previous mark, the same, or more then the previous mark?

The new level will be the same!
Water has the strange phenomenon of increasing in volume when frozen. It is for this reason that ice weighs less than water and also why the tip of an iceberg (roughly 10%) sticks out above the water.
The same will happen with an ice cube in a glass of water. So it's easy to think that there will be a rise in water level - that 10% sticking above the water level! But don't forget about the increase in volume of the of the ice cube. Archimedes principal says the mass of on object is equal to the mass of the water displaced. So the volume and level of the liquid in the glass never changes.

This doesn't have anything to do with Ice blocks but it's still funny:

Two lawyers make a suicide pact and intend to jump from the top of their office building. The building is 30 storys high, each lawyer has the same body size and weight except one is wearing a gray suit, the other is wearing a brown suit.
Question: Which lawyer hits the street first?
Answer: Who cares?
