A woman has to walk past a pet shop every day going to and from work and every day she is insulted by a parrot in the window.
‘Hey, pudgy, put a bag over your head!’ or ‘Hey, lard-arse, lose some weight already!’
The woman has finally had enough and threatens to sue the pet shop owner if the parrot continues with his behavior. The pet shop owner threatens to wring the parrot’s neck if he doesn’t behave.
The next day the woman passes by the petshop and the parrot squawks, ‘Hey, lady!’ ‘Yes?’ the woman shouts back, ‘What is it?’

A Boeing 747 experiences an unusually bumpy landing and after they taxi to the terminal, the sheepish looking pilot takes his regular position at the door, telling the passengers, ‘Thank you for flying with us.’
Owing to his bad landing, he was quite prepared to grin and bear any amusing comments coming his way. But no one said a word until a little old lady came walking with a cane.
She stopped at the exit and turned to the pilot. ‘Captain, would you mind if I asked you a flying question?’ ‘Certainly, madam,’ says the pilot. ‘What is it?’ ‘Were we shot down?’
